Qualifying school leaders for the implementation of digitalisation in schools - this has been one of the focal points of the German Academy for Educational Leadership (DAPF) not only since the Corona pandemic. For three years now, the DAPF, the Department of Continuing Education (zhb) and the Faculty of Education, Psychology and Educational Research at the TU Dortmund University have been offering the certificate programme "Digital Learning Leadership" for educational leaders. The participants of the third certificate course celebrated their successful graduation on 24 November 2020 - online, of course, just as they completed the majority of the certificate course.

The course started in presence at the end of 2019, but has continued online since the start of the Corona pandemic. "Some participants have not been able to find the time for a final paper, but more than half of the participants have successfully completed the continuing education course with a certificate, which is a respectable achievement in view of the increased workload in everyday school life during the past months," notes education officer Daniel Neubauer happily: "It is particularly exciting to see how quickly the content of the certificate course can be used and implemented by the participants in practice."

Digital Learning Leadership is now one of the DAPF's most successful certificate courses and is also offered as a tailor-made course throughout Germany. The new study group this year already started at the beginning of November with a high number of participants and there will also soon be a new study group in Berlin in cooperation with the responsible senate authority.
